چکیده
Staphylococcus aureus is an emerging pathogen from dairy animals that can form biofilms in the udder of cows affected by mastitis. The use antibiotics farms leads to a decrease bacteria, finally making healthy food. aim this study was determine occurrence, antibiotic susceptibility, and biofilm forming ability S. isolated cow milk. A total fifteen raw milk samples were collected Mohammadpur, Narayangonj, Savar, Bosila, Siddheshwari Norshingdi for isolation aureus. All highly loaded with staphylococcal count ranged 105 106 cfu ml-1. Biochemical tests (TSI, catalase, oxidase, motility, MR/VP etc.) performed confirmation Staphylococcal isolates. 100% resistance observed against oxacillin, erythromycin, cotrimoxazole, amoxicillin, cefixime vancomycin. In contrast these results, isolates showed sensitivity gentamicin ciprofloxacin. kanamycin tetracycline be variable. present reveals presence multidrug resistant Therefore, appropriate control measures like proper sanitation place where milking live, maintenance hygiene before after milking, using mechanical methods strict etc. are needed ensured. Antibiotic Resistance and Detection of femA Gene in Staphylococcus Aureus Isolates from Raw Milk
ABSTRACT Background and Objective: Antibiotic-resistant Staphylococcus aureus strains have become a problem in treatment of infections caused by S. aureus. This study aimed to evaluate antibiotic resistance in S. aureus isolates from raw milk and detect femA gene in these isolates, as a confirmatory test for identification of S. aureus species. ...

Introduction:Staphylococcal food poisoning is one of the most common food-borne diseases. The antibiotic resistance of Staphylococcus aureus has been reported globally. Today, strains of Staphylococcus aureus in food have become a problem in clinical infections and are considerde as a serious public health concern. Methods: A total of 100 samples were tested in the laboratory; including 75 han...

Background and Aims: Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) is considered as one of the most dangerous pathogenic bacteria due to the production of extracellular toxins. The objective of this study was to determine the prevalence of S. aureus and to characterize the recovered strains for their enterotoxin-producing genes in raw cow milk. Materials and Methods: During 9 months duration of the s...
متن کاملEnterotoxin gene profiles among Staphylococcus aureus isolated from raw milk
Milk is considered a nutritious food because it contains several important nutrients including proteins and vitamins. Conversely, it can be a vehicle for several pathogenic bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus. This study aimed to analyze the frequency of genes encoding the nine Staphylococcal enterotoxins (SEs) and enterotoxin gene profiles in S. aureus isolates derived from raw bovine milk....

The isolation, identification of Staphylococcus aureus from bovine milk and its antibiotic susceptibility was studied. One milliliter of each freshly drawn milk sample was inoculated into 9 ml of sterile peptone water and incubated overnight. A loop full of peptone water broth was streaked on blood agar base enriched with sheep blood using the quadrant streaking method for each quarter. Blood a...
